Glenn Davis


In 1975, Glenn Davis began his Emergency Medical Services (EMS) career as a member of The City of Tuscaloosa Fire Department. In February 1978, Glenn and five other members of The Tuscaloosa Fire Department completed the first paramedic class in West Alabama offered by The University of Alabama, College of Community Health Sciences, Program in Emergency Medicine. Since that time, Glenn has continued his EMS career outside The Tuscaloosa Fire Department by serving in various roles in EMS education and administration. On October 1, 2007, The University of Alabama College of Community Health Sciences (The College) became the EMS Region 4 lead agency for the Alabama Department of Public Health Office of EMS. Glenn became and continues to serve as The College’s ADPH OEMS EMS Region 4 Lead Agency Director.

Glenn is an Advanced Stroke Life Support Instructor for The American Heart Association.
